NATO straps have been complementing the finest working watches for over half a century now. A simple, classic utilitarian strap that works with dive suits and tuxedos.
These NATO straps are made with La Perla Azzurra, made by one of the best tanneries in Italy. This is a fully vegetable tanned leather with a supple feel and naturally pebbled texture. Dryer and stiff than the Chromexcel straps due to a lower oil content and natural tanning process. The lower oil and wax content also leave the straps prone to stretch if you get them wet, keep these out of the pool and shower if that's a concern.
Like all leather, these straps will patina over time with exposure to sun and skin oils, and will likely darken some.
These are a little thicker than nylon, 1.2mm-1.4mm, and may require curved spring bars depending on your watch, which I'll include. They're also long enough to fold back under the rings, but are easily trimmed if that's not your jam (obviously they can't be returned if trimmed).
All my straps are 21mm, so they fit 20mm and 22mm lugs well. I'll send both sizes of spring bars.
